Uranus is the first of the distant twins, the other is Neptune because they as of similar size and makeup , Uranus was discovered in 1781 by William Herschel, he named it, Georgium Sidus, or Georges star, in honor of King George 3rd of great Britain, this name was not popular, so it was renamed Uranus

Uranus takes 84 years to orbit the sun, the poles experience 42 years of winter then 42 years of summer, for 21 those years, they are each in continual darkness or light
