The Solar System

 

Our solar system is one of 500 discovered so far, however there could be billions of systems we don’t know about yet.

At the center of our solar system is the Sun (Sol). It rules over a vast area of space, it’s gravity, radiation, and magnetic influence extending outwards for billions of kilometres. Within our system are eight planets, 5 dwarf planets, about 200 moons, millions of asteroids and billions of comets. The 4 inner planets are rock planets, the 4 other planets being gas giants.
